Also: bad logic.

A person may not notice the "trend" of it being posted by one person every day. They may also not know that it's "considered rude", _especially_ if they don't realize the thread is "owned".

Violations of the FAQ rules occur even though we have a FAQ. These rules, not written anywhere officially, are much harder to expect people to understand. And the other public domain threads that operate on a different principal (that anyone can post them) just make it that much harder to accuse someone of "knowing better" in the case of threads you post.

I'm not saying you can't feel protective of your threads. I'm just challenging your assertion that it's "obvious to everyone". It's not.
