First, I'll accept that you probably know more about this than I do. However, I do have some points I find require further debate.
I'm not sure what you're referring to in Germany. Maybe you mean the RAF atttacks a few decades ago. However, I don't believe they're comparable to todays situation.
As for Israel, I fail to see where they have succeeded. As far as I can see, they're in the worst situation they've been in for ages.
AFAIK, the US approach in 'dealing with rogue nations' is to stomp all over them, then install puppet governments, or radical leaders which turn on the US a few decades later. This doesn't seem very successful to me. But again, you might know more of this than I do, in which case I appreciate further information.
As a final point. I was astounded to read something like the last three sentences in your post, from you. I wholeheartedly agree to this (maybe not quite with the very last bit), but had always has you put down in the group that did not, and never would understand this. Guess I misjudged you there. |
