Do you really beleive that a 'terrorist' from Syria or Iran cares what happens in Iraq? Of course not. If the US pulls out, then good, they'll have lost face and gained nothing which is good in the terrorists eyes. If they don't pull out, also good, they'll continue to be easy targets and get increasingly frustrated, again loosing face. The real goal was to get the US into this no-win situation. What happens now is playing into their hands anyway.
