The major stores, in your area are: Nob Hill Albertson's Safeway They are all equally reliable. Sometimes the dice just roll wrong and that could happen to any of them. You don't get to be a major chain by screwing up all the time and that is definitely not the way to stay a major chain. However, their prices are always competing. In Livermore, Alberton's was usually cheaper overall.
