his aorta bursting. They do know it was because of massive iternal bleeding, but there was never an autopsie(sp?) done, so we can't know for sure. I forgot about the double jointed part, even though I am. I can sit on my rear with my legs folded beside me, my feet next to my rear (I make people hurt when they see the different ways I can sit). I take a beta-blocker every day to lower my blood pressure to relieve stress on my aorta (25mg of Atenolol(sp?) (generic for Tenormin) to be exact). Thankfully I don't suffer from anything else. There is also a higher chance of spinal scloriosis in people with Marfans. One of the tests my heart doctor does every year is to check for that. He also gives me a yearly echo to check my aorta's condition. Just FYI, it is belived that Abraham Lincoln had Marfans (maybe that explains why he is my favorite president?). Also, what is fragx? That is one term I have never heard.
