| So I'm talking to my boss about this... management seminar kinda thing we're doing this week. And I'm feeling annoyed because I feel like I oughta be with Starflower for an important appointment she has. So I ask about what the heck it is we're doing at this seminar thing, thereby revealing that I hadn't read the memos very carefully. When boss called me up on that, I said "yeah, I skimmed through the memo, but it just looked like a bunch of Dilbert speak to me." I don't think I won any points with boss today.
I also purposefully let him see me skimming through some online job opening announcements. Wonder how much that helps.
