  I think there is a setting in apache by talon0720 2004-04-05 13:48:45
that determines what filename expr will go to certain apps (like php) The default is (again, for php) .php .php4 etc. Now, I think that if you add .htm .html and whatever else you want to that list, then those pages will be sent to the php engine for processing. Don't know if you are using php or not, but it could (may not work though) for what you are using. Look in the httpd.conf file. Sorry, don't remember what its called.
