The local Planned Parenthood near where I went to High School had an interesting program called Teen Council. What they did is take high school students and a couple of college underclassmen who would go around to the various schools to help teach sex ed. A 17 or 18 year old senior is much more likely to get the point across than the 40 something teacher. There is a downside though. Imagine you are a 15 year old sophmore taking Health class. A nice 17 year old girl from the Planned Parenthood Teen Council comes in to talk about sex, std's and various other topics. Now imagine that the girl who comes in is your sister. {Sigh} I'm scarred for life.
