We just got back from Hellboy. Very Lovecraftian monsters, I thought.
The statue almost looks like a George and the dragon thing, but not. It certainly looks 19th century. I was wondering about that, myself. My guess is that it's a Romantic Era take on one of the Greek myths or other, or maybe Achilles or the like. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Was great to see Ron Perlman in something, though. |
