Ok, so it was just a pen, but it was one of those fancy 3 in one pens (pen, stylus, and pencil in one). I have had that pen for many years--it carried me through college. It was so well used that it had actually worn into the shape of my hand.
Anyway, back in December it suddenly disappared off my desk. I was royally pissed. Two weeks ago, one of our drivers was in the office and there was my pen--he had it clipped to his name tag lanyard he was wearing around his neck. There was no doubt it was mine since it was so well worn. And yet, I couldn't get it back since it didn't have my name on it. He claimed his mother gave it to him.
