after having spent 3 years at a college help desk some of the AutoCAD folk were among my least favourite students to deal with. I had one guy call up and complain that the floppy drive on a machine was broken and his floppy was stuck in it. I go take a look at the drive - sure enough there's a floppy in there and it isn't budging. Pull out my tools and manage to extract it, it's bowl shaped. He'd left it on the dash of his car in the middle of summer - it had warped into a nice shallow dish. What I don't understand is, with the amount of effort he would have had to expend trying to cram it into the drive, why he thought it would work. - DW
