especially in California's high cost of housing. The uppper limits are almost always lower than the cheapest house so a multi-part finance deal would have to be done, up front. Then comes the real problem, time. Both CalVet and the VA take AGES to process applications. In a hot market, deals are usually done in weeks. The Seller usualls denies offers involving CalVet and VA loans because they want to move at market rate and not at glacial bureaucratic rates.
