When someone is typing. They'll be standing still, but I think you only see the typing icon (dim lightbulb, like they're about to express an idea?) over someone's head if they're on your team.

Which is why I try to use the "quick chat" as much as possible. You can still maneuver, so if you find yourself getting shot, you don't have to exit the chat window.

Unless the shooter is JillSwift. Then you might as well keep talking... ;)
