Evolutionary theory (and pre-history generally) simply lacks the solid, undisputed and -testable- facts that other branches of science enjoy.
OK, if you get into advanced particle physics, or biochemistry, then things are not so cut and dried. But you don't learn sub atomic physics at the tender age that kids are forcefed evolution.
TV is guilty of a lot, as well. Reconstruction programs that reconstruct fantasy worlds and present them as fact simply don't help. Want to know what a dinosaur looked like? Guess again! |
