But in case you meant my explanation... ;-)

The first tank barrier, just down the hill from the spawn, goes from the wall of a building to a big pillar. It is obviously possible to place some dynamite in that big open space adjacent to the barrier and pillar, not in the street that the barrier is on. I'll try to diagram it:

Where the x is above. If you stand there, you don't see the symbol saying to plant dynamite. If you place dynamite anyway, it blows up the barrier. They call that illegal for some reason.

I was ignored again for #1, but as soon as I did #2 everyone started raising a stink. (Dang, that came out wrong. [Doh! That was even worse.])
