Religious discussion by Feng_Li 2004-03-17 12:51:14

After yesterday, I think some clarification is due. I therefore propose the following:

Assume that a person has expressed an interest in your religion. Briefly describe it, and tell why said person should consider joining/converting. After you have done so, other UFies can ask questions.

Rule #1: Questions are to be for clarification and information only. The point of the discussion is to place religions on exhibition, not to poke holes in them or otherwise attack or belittle them.

Rule #2: In telling why a person should consider joining/converting, references may not be made to other faiths. Display your own merits, not other's weaknesses.

Hopefully this will prove educational for all and prevent misunderstanding in the future.
