That's the whole objective, defend the guns. It's much more effective to guard the two entrances to the gun area than to run around the gun courtyard, surrenduring the high ground and probably losing the game. At that point, you have to deal with at least 5 entrance points, instead of 2.
As for tossing the airstrike into the spawn, come on now. Are you saying that he couldn't have shot or stabbed a character standing motionless in the spawn? The kill is much more likely at that point, without the risk of airstriking spawning players. There really isn't a good excuse for tossing an airstrike into any permenant spawn.
It also seems much more likely that the character in question wasn't standing motionless for a minute, but was likely seen twice, or was away from the keyboard, but neither condition presents a good reason to airstrike the spawn. I didn't realize that there was a 'reverse spawn camping' rule and I woudl remind your that the blue spawn shield disappears after 5 seconds, whether you leave or not. |
