- I'm not so politically correct as to think that some ethnically-based jokes don't have a place... in the appropriate context, - But context is important (for example, the Keynote speaker at a conference probably shouldn't start his speach with one - don't laugh, it happened a few weeks ago, and it really wasn't funny...in this instance, you could interchange just about any ethnic group or cohort (imagine it with "MBA sutdent") in this one, which makes me wonder if it's really a necessary component - but it's still funny! |
