It's a kernel patch for Linux that allows for dynamic clustering. Basically, when the machine starts, it polls the network for other Mosix boxen and gives them a quick 'hello'. When one machine in the Mosix net gets close to full throttle on its CPU, it starts handing out tasks to the others that have available CPU bandwidth. Clicky
