The XOR part and all of the low level bit-wise(ish) operations reminded me things like using the xor variable swapping method. Sorta like how the old Amiga's worked in their hardware. I was thinking that maybe it would've hit other people that way too.

Of course, I'm the type of guy that goes to a party, and not only do the normal people there not laugh at my jokes, neither do the geeks.
