how it works..

Not knowing exactly what the technology is doing, it *sounds* like a similar concept to Cable. The more people using bandwidth, the slower your experience may be. Maybe not, I can see how it would work out either way. Anybody have any insight to that one? Maybe everybody in an area is bandlimited and then multiplexed together so they're never going to use up the full potential bandwidth of a particular section.

The one problem is that it would make sniffing packets comming from someone's home much easier (ie, without being actually connected to the network.) They can make the frequencies used 'secret' all they want. That doesn't mean people won't find out what they're using. I suppose if they did a system that used a spread spectrum technology of some sort, it would be somewhat ok. Again, anybody know more about what's going on there?
