John Kerry, Bush's Advisor On Iraq by DesertRat66 2006-11-19 12:55:59
It appears that George W. Bush followed Kerry's advice on how to deal with Iraq right down to taking unilateral action. Copy of Kerry's original op-ed in the New York Times is available here.

It would also appear that Kerry himself is guilty of "mis-leading" the American Public WRT Iraq's WMD programs. In 1998 he said "Saddam Hussein is pursuing a program to build weapons of mass destruction." So what changed in the next four years? Nothing, Kerry still voted to authorize the invasion of Iraq in 2002. So if in 1998, Kerry still believed Iraq had WMDs two years AFTER Iraq claims they were unilaterally destroyed (contrary to U.N. Mandates) how could anyone claim Bush decieved him?

Of further interest here is some of the much villified "mis-leading" intelligence. Take a read and see if, based on the information presented, and Saddam's continued reluctance to comply with U.N. Inspections you can come up with any other conclusions.
