Any opinions on DVD decoders for XP by chasmosaur 2004-03-17 06:06:07
So I'm trapped in my home office for the next few days, because I have plumbers replacing all the pipes in our condo. Pretty it ain't.

Anyway, I rearranged all my work so I don't have any for the next couple of days (in case they need to shut down power or some other catastrophe happens), and thought I'd just play some DVD's on my computer to pass the time. Silly me, I didn't realize MS didn't bundle the DVD decoder into XP (this happens when you have a 5 DVD machine attached to your TV ;) ).

So does anyone have any opinions on the three different companies that provide the packs? (Cyberlink, InterVideo or Sonic). At this point, shelling out $20-$30 bucks doesn't matter (a drop in the bucket compared to the pipe thing), but I don't feel like hosing my computer with the wrong plug in today.

Thanks!
