Military Chain of Command Question by Illiad2004-03-09 20:35:51
The Marines aboard the floats are usually security by subbywan 2004-03-09 20:46:15
as such, they're *only* accountable to their Marine superiors on the float, who is in turn responsible to the capt, iirc.

Basically, they're in the same CoC as military police, ie, outside the usual one.

If they're just travelling along, I think it's just a matter of curtesy really. The marines keep pretty much to themselves, so there's no real need for anyone outside their CoC to be giving them orders.
