Did any of you get spam from someone named leoin? If so please pass it on to help@ (listed on the site), etc(ie put her on ignore and flag her profile as bad). I and several others got spammed. Apprently there have been requests in past for them to do something about spamming on the site. Nothing was done. Considering the flags and sending a complaint to the help dept will make a point that many aren't pleased with spam... maybe they will do something. I included in my complaint that this person seemed to join groups just to spam the members.(I got a message saying "some say my picture isn't beautiful enough what do you think? tell me and I'll maybe change it"... she also had someone make her a fan club) Also that there are under age people on there. The ones near 18 aren't a big deal but they need to consider doing something if they are told people are under age. Other than the spammer tho the next big problem I pointed out to them were people lying on profiles trying to get into groups. At least one of the female geek type groups allows men but is mostly women. One is invite only I'm in and thease guys have put a womans pic on their profile, lied and said they were female and when asked or elsewhere admitted they were really males. This has happened also in the non invite groups... like what is up with that??(either way they can see the group says basically women only and women don't invade the men only groups) It's frightening some women into being worried if some wacko is going to harass or stalk them or something when they want to talk about girls things or something. :( Anyways if your at orkut please send in a post requesting they make some system changes to prevent spam and other abuse. I asked for an "report abuse" link to be added to pages and stuff. /me why yes I hate spam especially ones of that sort of nature... makes me wonder if the person is mentally ok
