Zion does conspire against my wife an I methinks... So far as cat peeing outside of it's box, when females are in heat they will occasionally do so. It is unusuall from what I've read but it does happen (much more common is the male spraying, of course). Aparently my cat gets "aroused" by the catnip. Or thats my theory anyway. My vet doesn't seem to think anything is wrong with her. After being spayed and forgoing the catnip, she has been fairly good about not peeing on things... except of course when we got our rabbit. She seemed to be quite irritated about that but she has calmed down since.
