She left and went to work at a bank (more opportunity for advancement), and was making $11 CAD/hour, and after a few months she started training new employees who were making more than she was. The job market kinda sucks right now. Luckily she has a new job as a copy editor/writer for a new magazine that's being launched this spring, with a decent salary and benefits. I feel for you, a step down is never easy. But things will get better, it occasionally taks a little time. |
