I may be offered a job with a fairly prestigious company, on a temp-to-hire contract, for $12.00/hr! (What I was making 7 years ago.) The worst is, I may have to accept this! This is an obscenity for someone with my skill set.
I see jobs opening across the country for decent wages, but none here, and I no longer can move without relocation funds (from an employer). Those are scarce at my job level. This sucks!
I want to say "I won't take this anymore!", but what the heck can you do? Go play in the traffic? There is no answer to this kind of thing that's not worse than what I putting up with now!
I warned you to "pay no attention". See what you get for ignoring good advice? |
