All virus writers must be working for Microsoft. by Slamlander 2004-03-09 02:49:52
I just got a call from my ex-partner, whom is still servicīng some of our old clients. They are being forced to buy Exchange 2003 because of virus and spam problems. Microsoft is charging the full prices, even when we've had a service contract with them for years (current system is Exchange 5.5, patched, on Win2KAS, has been working great for 4 years).

No, the client is not capable of running anything *nix, or I'd have installed postfix there a long time ago. Besides, they use the workgroup PIM and OWA features heavily (45 clients, 3 offices).

The ONLY reason the client has to upgrade is for virus and spam vulnerabilities.
