We have various Trend's products (OfficeScan, MailScan, etc.). I get a mail or two a day notifying me that a virus was found and removed, I don't usually get the actual mail. These notifications can be turned off on the server (they can be sent to recipient, sender and administrator), so if you're using something similar, this might explain why you don't get to see anything.
