an Amiga 1000 w/ 256KB RAM and the (EGA equivalent) CRT (1080? 1082? meh. I'm too lazy to dig it out). It was a toss up between that and a PC clone. The Amiga was a way better deal at the time. (better graphics, higher capacity disk format, stereo sound, and a 68000 processor - far more advanced CPU than the 8088's in the XT's)
