My first modem was a 300 Baud	by radiowave911	2004-02-28 18:40:51
that connected directly to the phone. Plugged into the user port on the C64. I actually rqn a very short lived BBS - mostly just to play with the BBS code :) I learned programming that way, along with writing machine language for the same computer (it uses a Motorola 6502 8-bit CPU).
