if so, reverse the floppy cable (the data cable), and it will give a floppy fail error. Then it should allow you to either continue or go into setup.

All the AMIBIOSes that I've worked with have used the delete key to enter the setup. I have one from '96 that is like that (it is a socket 7 board). You have to be quick though, since the option is only available during the memory test on some of them. Just try holding delete down when you turn the power on.
