How to kill runaway processes? by arachn1d 2004-02-16 21:03:22
My vhost provider has been griping about runaway NetHack processes, which I've been killing manually. However, that's not good enough anymore. Can anyone help me with a script to kill off any process using >10% CPU time, so I can put it in cron? If I can't work something out, I may just have to shut down the server altogether.
