They don't sell live grenades at surplus and the ones that are live are watched pretty darn carefully. We had one go missing here at Fort Stewart in one of the units and the entire unit was called into work and put on lockdown until it was found. My neighbor's hubby is in the unit and it was not a happy time.

This isn't good for that soldier if it was live. The question is how and why does he have the grenade...
