I definitely think that there's a portion of the population who are abusing the AA programs to pay them to sit at home and do nothing but waste oxygen. I do NOT think it is because they are black/hispanic/minority, but because they are stupid, lazy scum. I think if the programs were opened to whites too, we'd see a portion of them doing exactly the same thing.
However, those louts are a voting block, and they're easy to cater to. "My opponent is going to make you get out and WORK! You have the RIGHT to be a dipwad! support me and I'll make sure you keep that right!".
If you can, listen to Chris Rocks "Blacks Vs Niggers". He has some excellent points against racism and why/how it's currently being propogated in our society. yes, it's limited to particular instances and there are lots of ways he doesn't mention, but the ways he DOES talk about, are ones that are being currently glossed over or completely ignored as being factors. |
