... though I have the impression that "blacks" and some other minorities are more likely to be poor than "whites", for both historical-economic and for psycho-historical reasons. The way things are going though, the "white" dominated "middle class" is increasingly on its way to catching down with the "blacks" as the middle class crumbes and shrinks. Perhaps this is a significant factor in the "Affirmative Action" back-lash?
