Grammar police strike again! by subbywan 2004-02-16 13:59:52
from email:

Dear Sir,

While travelling to work this morning, I saw a young woman wearing a T-shirt bearing the striking slogan "Practice safe sex - Go fu*k yourself".

I am aware of the common language advertising campaign on behalf of a leisurewear manufacturer, but I feel that this letter goes too far.

We deserve to be protected from language like this. Are these people not aware that when the word "practise" is used as a verb it is spelled with an "s"?

Yours faithfully,
Argus Tuft Merchant
