It's that before he posted asking how to put on armor and such. I replied to read the guidebook, after telling him how to wield his armor (not a wise idea). He then accused me of being newbie-unfriendly, which I willingly admit for the reasons stated above. So I can't help with the scorelist, but I can help with his scores. (I once told one of my roommates [who also hadn't read the guidebook] that to rub a lamp, you needed to beat enough monsters with it. He did that to the gnomish mines, before he started to get suspicious.)
