Any BC'ers know what days/courts in lower mainland	by Celticess	2004-02-16 12:01:20
are Family Court? I see they closed Maple Ridge... and I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to end up in Poco or New west... My ex husband got served on Feb 10th (just got the call earlier to tell me that)... apprently he has 40 days to respond(whatever that means... I think they mean turn in financial statements). I was told I'd likely go to court around March 22(eh my twitly brothers birthday). And I tried to look up stuff on the provincial court site. It says "initial" days and it says "criminal days" I think and it's obviously not a criminal case(It's family maintenance)... Anyways trying to figure out aprox when's because Bellator was going to try to be with me when I'm in court. I'm kinda hoping it gets delayed til a week to two weeks later then he might be able to be here... I've told him tho it's ok if he can't be. He was planning on comming out either way around my birthday. Part of why he was going to try to be in court with me was for support incase my ex gets weird... I'm kind of afraid of having to testify infront of my exhusband... (any of you that read my friends only LJ entry likely know why) so if I get asked to testify I'm going to ask if I can submit a written statment instead or give private testimony infront of both lawyers and judge away from my ex. If my ex plays games tho I'm tempted to offer the judge contact info from some of his ex's to prove he's a serial abuser.
