I have OOo installed on all my other computers except for my main desktop (Office XP is sluggish on my PII 233 laptop with 98MB RAM - and the only program I use is Text). The only reason I didn't keep it on the desktop was that I did a lot of PowerPoint presentations for my classes, and the "powerpoint" in OOo seemed to be fairly lacking. Plus, I got Office XP from where I was going to school for free.

Now, I haven't tried out the latest version of OOo - it's probably closer to Office than it was a year and a half ago.
