progression of protest. If a group of people debate why something is wrong and the persistently get ignored, typically, stunts ensue to try to get attention. Eventually it will get enough of a following to make an official protest on the white house lawn or something :P. It has to start somewhere, with people with enough courage to question governments policy and activly change policy when the adamantly believe it's wrong. Which is more than most people will do in our mostly apathetic country.
That being said, they are going against this ideal we have in the US that being white is somehow better, it somehow makes money grow on trees in our back yards and we live in a world called perfect. *cough*b*llsh*t*cough* They are simply replacing the word "black" with "white" and watching the minority community call foul, discriminitory. I fail to see the difference between anything ment for a specific skin color tone. If you use "black", you are discriminating against hispanic, oriental, and white. Mix and match all the words at will. It's all discriminitory, no color tone or race or origin should allow that to happen, especially as much and prevalent as it is in our current society. |
