So i violate two rules already.
I second the question, though: walking slowly will hinder peolple, walking fast (though sometimes with little steps) permits you to already-BE-out-of-the-way for others before they notice you were there.
Esp in crowded streets, rail station gallery, city sidewalks it's much more "at ease" to walk fast, slow down only the horizontal speed but not the walking/stepping tempo and BE FLEXIBLE.
Those who move their feet slowly will very often also zig-zag (in not putting their feet forward on a straight line, but putting each foot forward on it's own railmway track)
I know, babies walk that way, but hey: they are still LEARNING to walk. |
