Calling Windows Perl People by silvermoon822004-02-16 06:20:51
  Hmm, that's *very* unusual by SnappingTurtle2006-11-19 12:55:59
I've had trouble with it all along. by silvermoon82 2004-02-16 07:06:32
Partly, it's because I use W98SE and its horribly broken memory manager. Partly it's because I tweak W98SE. Partly it's because computers hate me.

ActivePerl is one of only 3 programs I've seen that lock up my machine so badly that it won't respond to the three-finger salute (the others are a broken internal development release of QNX Latrino and a version of Mahjong)... It's been doing it for a while when I try to install new modules, but now it does it randomly & unexpectedly.

Haven't tried the newsgroup, I figure I'll pester Myke for a bit, and if I can't make it work I'll find a newsreader & pester comp.lang.perl.misc.
