I'm not usually a morning person, unless, like today, I got up sometime yesterday evening because of a migraine this weekend. So I don't know too much about morning schedules, and mostly have it fixed in my head that "normal" people work 9-5, or often 8-5 with a lunch break.
I foolishly thought that applied to retail stores, and wanted to pick up an amplified FM antenna so I could get more than two stations out of a receiver sitting next to my computer, TV, monitor, et al. I tried Circuit City, Best Buy, and Sears before finally getting a clue that retail people don't really like morning either. The stores were within a mile radius, so it wasn't that much additional effort, but still.
I figured I'd get the hair cut I'd been meaning to for a month, but hadn't due to a cold / sinus infection that had me on antibiotics until this week. Oops. They don't open 'til 10 either.
I finally got some coffee at Starbucks and decided to come home to whine a bit until everything opens. ;-)
Oh, and you really shouldn't try combining the remains of an old bottle of shampoo with the new one if you've
a) been up all night
b) taken off your glasses
c) decided to do this while in the shower
d) purchased shampoo and conditioner in nearly-identical bottles
e) all of the above
Right, so I now have what was a half-empty bottle of conditioner with about a quarter of a bottle of shampoo mixed in. Which makes it rather runny, and therefore likely to get in my eyes. And burn. Hypothetically, of course. ... Red eyes? Whatever are you talking about?
But they do go quite well with my wayward hair that's overgrown my ears, and my frustrated expression. |
