I used a lot of energy to try to help one of my friends thru uni, until I figured out I wasn't helping him at all, rather the opposite. Once he quit, his depression left. The $25,000 he invested in his education, was not worth his mental health. Couple of months later another friend quit and was just as relived. He had no health problems, he just figured the academic life was not his, and the first friend had showed him that it was possible to drop out and still have a good life.
