I've got a tough decision to make... by mcnutcase2004-02-16 03:23:44
Perhaps merely slow it down? by jillswift2004-02-16 03:37:12
I have to diagree. by syren 2004-02-16 04:16:24
I do not have a degree and I don't feel that it has hindered me at all. In fact I believe the practical experience the time has given me was invaluable. I certainly don't find 'degreelessness' 'life-stifling'!

I like mcnutcase found uni to hard and I shifted down to a two year diploma course which I got (thanks to a need for numbers that pass the course, not through my work I can guarentee that!)eventually. Whilst the need for a degree is something that most people feel - I don't believe it is absolutely necessary.

If mcnutcase feels he has come to the end of the road with this course then what is there to be gained from him continuing with something that is making him unhappy? In my opinion it is foolish to continue in such a self-defeating endevour. He already said that he feels like he is putting off the inevitable and if thats the case, he already knows what he is going to do.

Good luck to you mcnutcase...you do what you feel in your heart is best love.
