the holiday I dislike is mothersday... want to know why go to my diary, follow the link to my old diary and look for posts about my daughter and her death.(or follow the link to my webpage and it's photo album and look at the articles on what she went through)... Commercialism of that holiday just... well hurts. So many people luckily with healthy happy kids. I'm sure they take it for granted and don't really think about it. Girls with pretty long hair pictured with their moms... and watching my daughter with smiles, and a hat deal with people asking her why she was wearing pink becuase wasn't she a guy?(sometimes it would tick her off other times she laughed it off... they thought she was a guy because she was bald and emancipated)... Anyways if there is one holiday you'll find me likely very quiet here and everywhere else on it's mothersday. I avoid as much tv, and ads as I can that have to do with the type of imagry that hurts to deal with... I do fine now day to day but that is the one day that can put me to tears. But anyhoo I'm sure everyone has a holiday or specific day of the year that they hate and have good reason to hate.
