No wonder nothing genuinely progressive ever gets done in this country; lawmakers waste enormous amounts of time and (our) money on crap like this.

In case there is anyone who is actually in favor of this kind of thing, just take a few mintures and listen to George Carlin's rant about "Euphemisms" sometime. We're watering down our language just to help the self-esteem of a few people.
