box, or case... Somtimes I call mine a drive but I know it isn't :P old habbit from years ago tho. CPU is the processor, other stuff in the case are parts of the computer... ie motherboard, ram, drives, pci cards, etc. So the whole tower all assembled is a "computer" or for refrence you can say the assembled bits are the tower/case/box as that is what holds all the internal peices.(tho there is also the externals... whatevers on usb, monitors, printers, input devices, etc)

CPU means in english "central processing unit" btw. :) So frankly that dude calling it a CPU isn't any better than those ones calling it a modem hahaha... because it is just the processing chip/peice of the computer too that goes on the board and in the towers/cases/boxes.
